WDIHC 2021 Committee works collaboratively with the Canadian Deaf Sports Association (CDSA), the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) and various partners, locally and nationally.
The World Deaf Ice Hockey Championship is a quadrennial (every four years) international men’s and women’s ice hockey competition sanctioned by ICSD. First held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 2009, the event is one of two highest profile quadrennial international tournaments for Deaf Ice Hockey (the other is the Winter Deaflympics).
EVERY SHIFT IS YOUR LAST SHIFT, THAT’S THE WAY HOCKEY IS PLAYED. CHAMPIONS KEEP PLAYING UNTIL THEY GET IT RIGHT.
